Northcliff's established neighbour toward Randburg, with the same afternoon-sun orientation on a good number of stands.
Windsor is one of the older, more established suburbs near the Northcliff ridge — mostly 1960s to 1980s brick homes on family-sized stands, with a steady trickle of kitchen and living-area renovations as owners update rather than move. Many streets run toward the ridge, so a fair few homes pick up the same elevated western light Northcliff itself is known for.
Standard sunscreen and blockout rollers handle most Windsor homes. Where a renovation has widened the living area onto the garden with a run of sliding or stacking doors, vertical and panel-style light control or aluminium venetians often make more practical sense than a single wide roller.
The ridge itself — full-height view glass and the hardest afternoon sun on our patch.
